Holidays
The force offers a generous annual leave entitlement, which provides for additional leave after 5 years continuous service with a police authority.
Up to and including scale 4 – 24 days (29 days after 5 years)
Up to and including scale 6 – 26 days (31 days after 5 years)
SO1 and above – 28 days (33 days after 5 years)
Employees at all grades receive a further 10 days leave a year through Bank Holidays. A reward leave scheme also operates for employees who have no sickness during the year.
