I have a BSc in Psychology, I am fluent in French and Spanish; I have been a language teacher in Madrid and I was a shipping team leader before joining the police.

What elements of the job do you enjoy the most?:

Being able to go about on foot or car patrol and talk to all kinds of people.

What would you say to someone who was thinking about applying for a job with the force?

The tasks within the police are most varied and exciting. Being a police officer gives you access to all levels and corners of society. The career opportunities are excellent and prejudice is less tolerated within the police than in any other sector of society.
