I feel that I make a real contribution to the policing of Humberside in the way I am able to support my operational police colleagues. I feel my work is appreciated. I believe anyone joining Humberside Police, who could show commitment, a willingness to learn and an appreciation of the importance of team work should find the work rewarding. You really might make a difference.

My work within the Humberside Police led me to become the Chair of the Association of Police Lawyers for three years (between 2000-2003). I am now the secretary of that association. This gives me access to policy-making bodies at a national level. |
