About the force
Serving a resident population of over 900,000 people, the Humberside Policing area extends across the four-utilitary authorities of the East Riding of Yorkshire, Kingston Upon Hull, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. Centred around the Humber estuary it offers a combination of rural and urban communities, each with its different policing challenges and rewards.
